Firstly, our large automatic swarf briquetters come with a storage accumulator to hold over a 1000L of swarf which can be fed by forklifting swarf bins in or via an automatic swarf bin elevator/tipper. The swarf is then fed into the machine where it compresses the swarf (stringy and chipped) into dense briquettes. The briquettes are then output via a swan neck pipe and the coolant reclaimed.
The resulting briquettes have a higher density and a lower surface area than loose swarf, which makes them easier to handle and reduces the risk of accidents.
